Organise Data Operations

Lead a team to build data pipeline for operations and analytics, including setting policies on the preparation of data, design of dashboards and supporting Satellite Offices (SOs) in data needs
- Build data capabilities within the team, including Tableau, R, Python, Geospatial
- Oversee quality assurance, approach to data use to support operational needs
- Work with IT department and other data divisions of different entities to acquire rights for the use of the data

Lead Data Analytics

Analyse the data to generate insights to improve operations working with internal stakeholders
- Engage users and use the data collected to better support their needs for better planning and decision making
- Identify and fill data gaps to find ways to enhance operations and improve work processes
- Engage public sector stakeholders at public agencies / strategic partners to develop data views of interest to them to increase division's impact and mindshare

Assure Data Governance

Ensure that data is properly protected to minimise the risk of data breaches working with internal stakeholders to set up operational work instructions and compliance reviews
- Set data practices on the ground compliant with policy and management's approval
- Communicate and review data practices
- Process data requests from SOs to enable data to be used safely

Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or Mathematics
Advanced degree in Data Analytics is a plus
Minimum 12 years of working experience in data management, data analytics or management information role
Knowledge of the use of Tableau, R and Python in data management, analytics and machine learning
Knowledge of IT systems and platforms, including application development, database administration
Preferably having the desire to branch out to data governance, machine learning and other technical areas
Positive persona and ability to build strong partnerships is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
