In a challenging and multicultural environment, we seek a Junior C# / Java Developer to join our Compliance IT team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Junior developer to join a technology team that is responsible for the Global Compliance platform - ensuring comprehensive international adherence to requirements, while meeting local obligations.

You will be responsible of the development and maintenance of the applications of the Compliance. Majority of the involvement lies in implementation of ETL for data sources (enhancements and new build for new business streams) and collaborate closely with 3rd part vendor to deploy solutions as part of investment projects under Compliance perimeter.

Main responsibilities

Main responsibilities of the role:

As a Junior C# / Java Developer

  • Build relationships with project managers and business analysts based in Paris and Singapore
  • Work closely with PM/BA (Singapore and Paris) + Devs of project team to deliver ETL/ data integration enhancements and support patches/configuration changes provided by the 3rd party vendor
  • Work closely with 3rd party vendor for deployment of solution
  • Manage quality of your deliverables at every stage of the development lifecycle (design, implementation, integration, validation)
  • Prepare and execute all technical tests, including performance tests
  • Amend existing components to correct errors and to adapt them to new requirements
  • Participate in 3rd level support activity during Asian business hours (production issues)
  • The traceability and best practices in term of security
In addition to the main responsibilities:

  • Maintain the continuous improvement of development (Lean)
  • Communicate with other developers to build a set of best practices across Compliance perimeter (eventually across department)
  • Assist with implementation of best practices based on DevOps
  • Actively participate in our Developers Community at department level (to build on experience and exposure)

Qualifications and Profile

You have worked at least for 1-3 years as a Junior C# / Java Developer:

Functional/project type

  • Knowledge of project life cycle methodology
  • Experience Investment Banking/Compliance will be considered a plus


  • Relevant hands on work experience building, securing, integrating and delivering enterprise wide applications with C#, SQL, Java
  • Good foundation and hands on experience in SQL Server) and Oracle
  • Version control tool (SVN, GIT)

Other experience /skill such as

  • Scripting (Bash, Powershell etc.)
  • Spark
  • Experience collaborating with 2+ developers
  • Experience of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and /or Test Driven Development (TDD) using SpecFlow, Nunit,Selenium (or others)
Would be highly considered as a plus
