We are looking for individuals with self-motivated, high in curiosity, and customer-focused to join eduJournal as a UI/UX Developer. The UI Developer owns the conversion process of business requirements and design comps into functional user interfaces. The UI Developers we look for are experts with front-end development technologies but also have an eye for design and have an understanding of UX. This position bridges the gap between designers and back-end developers – you must be able to think like a designer and a developer. As part of your role as a UI Developer, it is expected that you’re capable of adding rich elements to your implementations such as micro-interactions, transitions, and animations.

1- Implement approved UI designs in collaboration with the backend development team
2- As part of UI implementation, incorporate micro-interactions, animations, and transitions to enhance application feel and richness
3- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and contribute to design decisions
4- Owner of the technical decisions on UI development
5- A creative, lateral thinker who can identify issues and articulate solutions
6- Able to produce results in a fast-paced environment across multiple projects

Requirements:
- Ability to think like a designer and a developer - creative and technical
- Mastery of converting visual design comps into fully functional web applications
- Experience creating custom controls from scratch
- Highly proficient with branding third party controls
- Extensive experience in Angular 2+
- Coding experience with ES6 / Object-Oriented JavaScript / Typescript
- Mastery of HTML5 and semantic HTML
- Solid experience with CSS/SASS/LESS
- Knowledge of REST-Based APIs
- Accessibility must be part of your coding foundation
