Job Description

  • Provide technical support to all system users
  • Accurately maintain detailed help desk records
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve user related connectivity issues, including remote user support. Investigate, diagnose and resolve personal computer, server, storage, software and network related technical problems.
  • Understand and support operation of various company servers.

  • Maintain documentation on all I.T. activities and procedures.
  • Accurately maintain and audit hardware inventory & individual personal computer records.
  • Provide new employee I.T. orientation training and provide staff training of standard applications utilized in-house.
  • Administer Active Directory and Office 365 users/licensing.
  • Administer and monitor anti-spam and anti-virus software and ensure resolution.
  • Administer issuance of equipment to new staff. Set-up new/ refurbished personal computers based on pre-defined specifications. Create guides when necessary to ensure consistent installations.
  • Administer return of equipment and reformat personal computers upon staff’s exit.
  • Install necessary software patches, updates, and fixes on user personal computers and servers. Administer Active Directory and Office 365 users and licensing. (repeated)
System Management
  • Assist with backups such as switching out hard drive media and evaluating the previous night backups for successes/failures. Report failures to I.T. Consultant.
  • Work on weekends or evening hours on monthly Microsoft updates and special projects as needed. Manage Meraki firewall and access points as well as other network infrastructure devices
  • Responsible for infrastructure and data security
  • Diploma in information technology or higher
  • 1 to 3 years experience in similar capacity of managing an organization’s I.T. infrastructure and provision of technical support
  • Expert level with PC Hardware
