Project Description

SearchSG is a search service that aims to improve existing government information finding tools and capabilities in order to achieve an accessible, easy and efficient search experience on government websites for citizens.

Learning Outcomes

Learn web technologies such as NodeJs and React
Learn about how search engines components work (crawl, index, search)
Learn about different processes and best practices in Agile development

Pre-requisites

Good problem solving and analytical skills
Proficient in Javascript and some js-based frontend frameworks
Knowledge of Typescript, ES6, NodeJs, React, MySQL or Docker would be an advantage
