Job Description

Successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of a variety of digitalization initiatives. As the platform lead, the role works closely as a key collaborator alongside cross functional teams to manage digital projects and deploy new or refined digital capabilities required to support GE’s Digital for Business strategy across the region.

You will organize the team and drive successful outcomes by aligning the efforts to project plan and ensure timely project delivery. This role has extensive team management, cross-functional collaboration at every level and vendor management responsibilities.

The Job
  • Act as the platform lead and serve as the thought leader & champion for “Digital Customers Platform”, driving change across the organization and markets (Indonesia, Malaysia & Singapore) building strong relationships with cross functional departments to drive successful outcomes.
    • Product Owner for “Digital Customer Platform” – A suite of digital solution (GE’s Website & Mobile Apps to help both individual and enterprises to administer & manage their insurance & employee benefits end-to-end with ease.
    • Build up full-fledged servicing capabilities across Website and Mobile App, in prioritized stages.
    • Expand straight through post-login purchases and enable online-to-offline for advisory life products.
    • Create a customer centric omni-channel journey through innovative digital capabilities to enable click-to-connect options and other capabilities to enable smooth end to end UX claims, servicing, rewards & engagement and purchase journeys.
    • Play a key role in driving the platform operating model and architecture solution to ensure scalability.
    • Drive initiatives, align on priorities and deliver a comprehensive program plan including milestones that has clear, actionable and measurable benefits (e.g. key performance indicator improvements, change management and communication programs).
    • Work collaboratively with regional partners on their digital initiatives execution – share best practices, understand localization needs and provide support both pre and post implementation.
    • Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
    • Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
    • Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
Our Requirements

  • Minimum Degree (Bachelor or Master) in Business, Business Information Technology Computer Science, Engineering or similar areas.
  • 10 - 15 years of professional experience within Digital Transformation / Operations / Technology or equivalent combination and at least 5 years of program or project management experience.
  • Broad knowledge of current IT technologies and trends as well as knowledge of full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)
  • Excellent ability to multi-task, exceptional planning, forward thinking, critical thinking, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to use data, research and metrics to back up intuition assessment and decision making.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Energetic, determined, passionate and courageous to drive large scale transformation efforts in the organization.
  • Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills with ability to facilitate strategy, requirements and business value conversations with stakeholders of all levels.
  • Flexibility to travel.
  • High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
  • Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
