We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a a Senior Manager, Data and Analytics.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Business manage the integration and transformation of Data & Analytics capabilities across the Insurance business in Singapore
  • Lead the Data and Analytics project team that will assess, analyse, design and develop capabilities, data products and analytic solutions for the business
  • Shape the Data and Analytics strategy and execution, engage stakeholders, develop business proposals, gain support and drive forward to deliver business value
  • Partner with IT engineering colleagues to deliver a modern, cloud based data platform with leading data science and data delivery capabilities
  • Manage projects using Agile practices to deliver effective solutions
  • Collaborate with business experts and IT engineers to deliver a range of Data & Analytic services
  • Ad-hoc Information/Insights
  • Non-Financial Self-Service Dashboards & Reporting
  • Analytical models (AI/ML applications)
  • CRM applications including central lead identification and customer lifecycle management
  • Data driven marketing communications
  • Decision support & process automation
  • Lead the development and testing of complex programs & processes to specifications and in alignment with Group policies/standards
Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Mathematics, Quantitative Analysis, Computer Science or related field. Advanced degree preferred
  • 10 Years+ industry experience working and leading Data & Analytics teams
  • Project management experience in data management/delivery initiatives using Agile frameworks
  • Financial Services experience (Insurance industry preferred) in business analysis, data analysis and data management
  • Experience with digital data and cloud platforms
  • Knowledge/experience in advanced analytics and application of AI / ML preferred
  • Experience in process automation and job scheduling preferred
  • Data & Model Governance experience preferred
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, presentation skills
  • Knowledgeable in use of Data & Analytics tools including SQL, Big Query, Python, R, SAS, Tableau/QlikSense. Programming experience preferred
