Reports to name & function : Technical Team Manager, APAC PSI

Purpose of the job: The incumbent must be able to perform systems and network setup, system integration. Ability to use different software extensively. The candidate participates in the realization of complex IT systems technology in the field of biometrics applied to security or border control applications.

Main responsibilities:

Within Public Security Business Unit / SDI (System Development & Integration), the candidate will be in charge of:

· Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks

· Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP

· Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and security

· Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting

· Investigating faults in the network

· Installing, configuring and supporting SAN equipment

· Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases

· Reporting network status to key stakeholders

· Definition of the integration platform & Installation of the system on it: Windows PC (Windows 10, Windows Server 2016/2019), Linux Servers, Specific devices such as biometric sensors, Databases on Oracle 12C/19C, Complex software modules developed by IDEMIA, Network and security components (firewall, router).

· Perform system integration test, system validation test, load and performance test, and high availability test.

· Investigate on the issues by analyzing logs during test execution, report incidents through configuration management tool and monitor them until closure.

· Produce documents related to installation, testing or operational and administration.

· Provide training to customer and handover system to maintenance support team.

Any other duties as assigned.

Experience & background:

· Minimum 4-5 years of related systems and network setup experience.

· Good knowledge in different OS like Windows, Windows server and Linux (RedHat, Oracle)

· Hands on skills in Linux scripting and window administration (Active Directory, GPO).

Able to configure Network Devices/Appliances and do network connectivity troubleshooting.
Proficient in using Vmware VSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V
Proficient of VEEAM Backup and Replication
Proficient in configuring of SAN Storage.

· Strong in Scripting (Perl, Bash, Power shell, python...) and Database (Oracle or SQL server…).

· Proficient in installation and configuration of system monitoring tools

Strong in network domains (TCP/IP, HTTP) and security (TLS, WSS, PKI) is preferred

· Produce documents related to installation, testing or operational and administration.

· Provide training to customer and handover system to maintenance support team.

Experience with Ansible/YAML and configuration management tool (SVN, JIRA) will be an added advantage.
