The Foreign Exchange (FX) Services Technology Team has an opportunity for a talented application developer. The role is within the FX Services Technology team which rolls up to the Macro eTrading group. You will join an inspiring team of technologists providing innovative solutions for internal and external clients across multiple JP Morgan lines of business through the provision of APIs and services to generate orders in our currency overlay business. Working in this product based environment, you will have the ability to refine the interface and overall user experience as we strive to continue delivering high end products for our customers. You will be responsible for working directly with business stakeholders to gather and analyse their requirements, implement and roll out the complete solution.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in large, collaborative multi-cultural team to achieve organizational goals
- Minimum 5 years experience in Application Development
- Basic understanding of Java, Spring/Spring boot Framework, Microservices, RESTful API
- Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
- Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
- Passionate about building an innovative culture
- Working proficiency in developmental toolsets, such as Intellij, Maven, GIT is an advantage
