NOTE: This is a fully remote role and can be based anywhere in the EUROPEAN region

We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to be part of our passionate and diverse DevOps team to ensures that the company’s network and IT infrastructure are free from security holes. We are at the inflection point for rapid scaling and we need strong engineers to carry us forward. You should be comfortable in a hands-on, collaborative environment, with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.

The Role

  • Build, test, and maintain the infrastructure and tools to allow for the speedy development and release of secure software.
  • Execute and provide leadership in the areas of Vulnerability Scanning, Certificate Management, Password Policy Management, Data Analysis of security monitoring outputs, coordination of Remediation Patching, and other daily Security and Compliance efforts.
  • Developing an automated security framework for robust code deployment tools and processes, leveraging various scripting languages and open-source solutions.
The Person

  • 4+ years of experience as a DevSecOps engineer or in similar roles
  • Hands on experience with Linux and the Unix Shell.
  • Experience with NodeJS and/or Go. Bonus points for Scala and functional programming knowledge.
  • Have experience with Nginx, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Terragrunt, AWS, Gitlab, Helm, ArgoCD, Datadog, or similar technologies
  • Familiarity with API Security, Container Security, AWS Cloud Security
  • Experience in auditing and Compliance Certifications such as SOC2 Type 2
  • Experience coordinating and performing vulnerability assessments and through the use of automated and manual tools
  • Ability to review and analyze vulnerability data and code to identify security risks to the organization's network, infrastructure, and applications and determine any reported vulnerabilities that are false positives.
  • Comprehension in the security areas of Key Management Systems, Certificate Management, Encryption, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Scanning, Security and Monitoring tools, etc.
  • Experience configuring, implementing, and leveraging computer security and networking diagnostic/monitoring tools.

  • AWS/Terraform/Kubernetes certifications
  • Have experience working remotely and collaborating asynchronously.
