Senior Associate, Fixed Income and Currencies DevOps Engineer

A great opportunity for you as a front-office DevOps Engineer to join our Fixed Income & Currencies desk delivery team to assist with the development, enhancement and support for a range of financial market products including FX, Interest Rates and Bonds. You will be required to interact directly with business and all other supporting functions such as settlements, finance, risks management etc.

You will be responsible for analysing, developing, releasing and supporting in-house trading system. You will work directly with traders and other business users to understand products and requirements. You will contribute to supporting day-to-day front-office activities, such as responding to inquiries regarding calculations observed in various finance and risk systems. You will be expected to continually upgrade skill set with respect to both technical skills and business/product knowledge, and look for improvement in stability and efficiency of existing processes.

You should have a strong understanding of object-oriented design and programming and proficient in scripting language in Linux environment. You should have experience with Python and preferably with C++. You should also have strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills. Your strong desire to learn about Financial Market products will be beneficially in this position. You should also be self-motivating and self-directing.
