Job Description

Our Digital Health Technology team is looking for an innovative and driven Data Lead for our Digital Transformation initiative. The primary focus of this role is to design and implement data & analytics solutions for our Fusion platform that is aligned with ResMed’s Data and Architecture Strategy.

Let’s Talk About Responsibilities

  • The primary objective of Application Development specialization within IT Applications is to engage IT and business stakeholders to define, design, develop, test, deploy and support initiatives within ResMed for functional areas, including but not limited to finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and sales & marketing.
  • Key responsibilities include programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of applications; research and experimentation of new technologies to provide technical leadership in developing applications and analysing business requirements as they pertain to systems; develop conversion and system implementation plans; documentation of technical designs, test plans and test results; establishing and communicating standards to manage cost and ensure continuity of applications; may work with outside vendors in developing tests to ensure feature functionality.
  • Performs work in a specialized area of expertise that requires knowledge of fundamental themes, principles, and concepts. Typically requires a university degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Work closely with other teams, such as but not limited to, Applications Development teams, DBA’s, Automation Engineers, Analytics, and downstream/upstream solutions delivery teams, either in resolving business issues or in providing functional assistance and advice.
  • Lead Analytics Solution Designs that will make use of standard Oracle functionalities, aligning with DHT IT architecture and data strategy.
  • Able to delegate responsibilities and tasks within the team.

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 10 years experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence.
  • At least 3 years' experience managing/leading a team of at least 3-5 individuals.
  • Extensive experience working in PL/SQL, Oracle Transaction BI Reporting
  • Excellent knowledge of ETL Tools, Data Migration and Cleansing activities.
  • Experience working with outsourced or external development and shared services centres.
  • Experience in architecting new data feeds from Fusion Cloud to ResMed’s data lake.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills within distributed project teams.
  • University Degree or equivalent with minimum 10 years relevant experience.

  • Addresses issues with impact beyond own team based on knowledge of own function and related disciplines.
  • Working knowledge of customer-facing applications – such as eCommerce, POS, Oracle EBS / Fusion.
  • Knowledge of Dell Boomi, Test Automation and CICD platforms.
