As a Cloud Consultant you will be a skilled industry expert and thought leader, driving growth and developing customer solutions.
Successful candidates will demonstrate an ability to translate business drivers and needs into technology solutions. This will include communications at all levels of management and the ability to understand and model business cases including financial considerations.
You will participate in customer engagement activities, including customer presentations and advising end-to-end technical solutions from design, delivery, implementation and deployment using the latest technologies helping customers with their on-premises or online deployment model.
Key responsibilities
Your key accountabilities and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead discussions with enterprise customers on the use of unified communications and cloud computing to solve complex business problems
- Accountable for all aspects technical delivery
- Execute technical customer engagements, produce design and implementation documentation
- Implement cloud technologies to achieve the customer's objectives
- Continue to develop technical capabilities and knowledge
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
- Manage contract negotiations
- Ensure customer satisfaction (NPS)
- Be actively involved in contributing to our team community
- Expect moderate travel
Key responsibilities
Your key accountabilities and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Experience in designing/delivery of key strategic cloud solutions into Microsoft Office 365
- Extensive and demonstrated experience in building, configuring, designing, migration of Microsoft Skype for Business solutions, both On Premise and Online, as well as knowledge and experience with Microsoft Teams
- Experience with key voice technologies and vendor partners, such as AudioCodes and Ribbon
- Experience with contact center technologies such as Genesys Cloud and Engage
- Strong knowledge of the complexities of migration and enterprise project exposure
- Experience in consulting environments, customer focused and ability to produce quality documentation
- Exposure to various methodologies, best practices and technologies
- Technical lead and management of multiple projects, define and understand customer problems, development of strategies
- Exceptional communication skills, high level of technical expertise and extremely passionate about technology
- Strong knowledge of the Unified Communications eco-system, and the ability to maintain contacts with Telstra's key vendors and partners.
- Up to date Microsoft Certifications on one or more relevant technologies is desirable
- Minimum 4 years' experience with relevant technologies
- Experience in data models and network inventory/OSS domain
- Experience in large enterprise grade transformation program
- Ability to elaborate and backlog grooming on complex features and enhancements
- Ability to analyze large datasets
- Strong verbal and written communication
- An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
- Attention to detail
- Essential to have telecommunication industry working experience
- A degree in one of the following subjects is essential: Computer Science, Statistics or Network Engineering
- Any certification in scrum and agile practice is a plus
