Job Description

The Solution Consultant plays a critical role in mapping TraceLink’s solutions to our customer’s requirements and creating the business case for TraceLink’s solutions with our customers. This position is a highly visible within the organization and you will routinely interact with TraceLink Senior Management, Sales, Product Management, Engineering and Services organizations as well as with our prospects’ senior leadership.


  • Act as subject matter experts as it relates to TraceLink solutions
  • Prepare sales presentations and product demonstrations for both technical, business and executive management audiences
  • Prepare materials and lead Solution Workshops as part of the sales process
  • Lead supply chain business process discovery sessions
  • Develop Solution Maps and Blueprints as part of the TraceLink sales process
  • Quantitatively model the benefits of TraceLink’s solutions
  • Understand and deliver the value proposition of TraceLink’s solutions
  • Respond to Customer Request for Proposals and Information (RFP/RFI)


  • 5+ years’ of experience in related discipline (pre-sales consulting for Enterprise software, or Life Sciences supply chain position)
  • Strong presentation and written communication skills to all levels
  • Experience with supply chain business processes, such as contract manufacturing, third party logistics providers, and distribution operations.
  • Experience with ERP and supply chain solutions such as SAP/ERP, SAP/WM, SAP OCR/All, WMS, Oracle/JD Edwards, JDA a plus
  • Experience with systems integration technologies for data exchange
  • Strong aptitude for explaining and applying advance technologies
  • APICS CPIM, CSCP certification a plus
  • Travel 30%-50%
