QA Engineer (1-7 years Exp)

Role and Responsibilities:

• Record defects and Issue reports

• Create Test Plans for new features from scratch

• Create Test cases and maintain the result history

• Assist software developers for design processes

• Assist software engineer for integration of applications

• Run Tests on new software/application versions

• Ensure new versions of applications are ready for customer use

• Submit daily/weekly reports to Lead regarding test hindering defects

• Submit and act proactively for show stopper issues

• Communicate with customer, production, Administration and development teams as and when needed

• Perform various type of testing on software and applications as and when required

Skills:

• JSON, Web Application Basics, RestAPI testing

• SQL, Oracle DB, SOAPUI/PostMan/curl

• Manual Testing, Understanding of Database systems

• Any defect management tool like Bugzilla, source version control tool like SVN

Soft Skills:

• Good Eye for errors with detail oriented approach

• Excellent problem solving approach

• Strong Analytical skills
